Sony Ericsson has introduced in Japan mobile phone Cyber-shot S006, intended for the local operator KDDI.

New remarkable presence of 16.2 mega-pixel camera based on CMOS sensor Exmor R with autofocus lens and a sensitivity of 12 800 units of ISO.

The device is based on gigahertz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and is controlled through a software platform Qualcomm Brew.

Among other new features are mentioned 3,3-inch touchscreen display with 480 × 854 points, FM-tuner digital TV tuner standard 1seg, GPS-receiver modules, wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, infrared, 700 MB of onboard memory and slot for MicroSD / MicroSDHC up to 16 GB.

Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S006 is executed in a slider form factor and works in GSM and CDMA.

The unit is not afraid of water and is made in the body size of 115 × 52 × 17 mm.
