U.S. mobile operator Sprint and the Canadian company Research In Motion announced a smartphone BlackBerry Style 9670, made in a clamshell form factor.
The gadget is equipped with a QWERTY-keyboard, the main display with a resolution of 360 × 400 pixels and an external display with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels.
The unit carries a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 512 MB of internal memory, a slot for flash card format MicroSD / MicroSDHC up to 32 GB modules, wireless Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1, 3 ,5-mm audio jack and GPS-receiver.
From the battery to 1150 mA • h smartphone can work for up to four and a half hours of speech, up to 14 hours - of music playback and up to ten and a half days - of standby time.
Phone is based on a 624-megahertz processor and running the operating system BlackBerry 6.0.
On sale in the U.S. BlackBerry Style 9670 will be October 31.
