BlackBerry Torch 9800 - the flagship slider for AT & T

Canadian company Research In Motion and the U.S. mobile operator AT & T submitted a smartphone BlackBerry Torch 9800, for the first time the manufacturer made in the slider form factor.



The gadget is equipped with a sliding QWERTY-keyboard, 3.2-inch capacitive touch display with a resolution of 360 × 480 pixels, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, image stabilizer, support geoteginga and video functions.



In the arsenal of new items 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, a slot for flash card format microSD / microSDHC capacity to 32 GB (4-gigabyte card included), wireless modules Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 and 3.5-mm audio jack and GPS-receiver.



From the Battery to 1300 mA • h smartphone can run for up to 5.8 hours of talk time, up to 30 hours - in music mode and up to 6 hours - on video.



The smartphone, built on the base 624-megahertz processor and running the latest operating system, BlackBerry v.6.



In selling the device will be Aug. 12 and costs $ 200, subject to conclusion of a two-year contract with AT & T.
