HTC Corporation announced a smartphone in Desire, running an operating system, Android 2.1. HTC Desire is equipped with a capacitive touchscreen AMOLED-dispdeem with a diagonal of 3.7 inches and a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels, gigahertz processor, Snapdragon, camera, accelerometer, light sensor and proximity, as well as a digital compass.
