Organization Symbian Foundation has announced that the first release of the operating system Symbian  3 will be released in the near future - building code will be completed by the end of next month. 
The new version includes several important enhancements, such as more efficient work in the network (switches automatically between cellular phones and Wi-Fi) and the acceleration of 2D and 3D graphics for games, applications, and, of course, the more "advanced" user interface. In addition, support will be implemented HDMI, so that the device can be connected to a monitor or high definition TV for video transmission format 1080p. 

New homescreen in Symbian  3 will be able to support multiple pages with widgets that can be "dragged" from one screen to another. The first devices based on the new OS should come out in the third quarter of this year.
